Outlook on Life:

I am always looking for the next exciting thing.  My whole life I've always been afraid that I will miss out on something.  This is probably why I didn't sleep much in my early twenties and now I have to sleep about ten hours a night ;-)  At this point in my life I have hit a stride where I realize that I don't have to experience every fascination in life, but I also want to keep myself motivated to learn and grow.  I believe this motivation along with my competitive nature has helped with the things I've accomplished in my life.

Hobbies:

Reading the newspaper, writing lyrics (I used to be the lead singer in a band), computers (what my college degree is in), football season (I'm from Louisiana originally....so I don't cheer for the Hogs), and riding my bike (when my daughter lets me out of her sight).  My family is my biggest hobby.

Goals for Adventure Racing:

I'm positive my competitive nature and my need to grow will only help me be a success in adventure racing.  I'm not exactly sure what my long-term goals in adventure racing will be.  In my wildest fantasies I would love to be on a team that wins a race within the next two years.  That could be considered a short-term goal, but my involvement in this team is so new it is hard for me to pinpoint my long-term goals at this point.  I just want to stay dedicated and train hard to be an asset for my team.
